How do I install Unity Web Player so that that Mac Chrome will recognize the plugin? I ran the web player installer on my Mac, and while that updated the player version in Safari & Firefox (Unity Plugin version: 2.6.1f3, Unity Engine version: 2.6.1f3), Chrome still thinking the player is not installed. My Chrome version is the latest at 4.0.249.49.

Unity does not run on Mac Chrome. Besides chrome not recognizing the plugin (which should be easy to fix), there are deeper technical difficulties, because chrome will not allow plugin processes to get a hardware accelerated rendering context inside the browser window.
