AV Programs getting crazy when running Unity apps.

Hey guys,

since i didn’t manage to find a solution for this problem yet, i’m asking here again.
Each time i build one of my projects in Unity and i want to start the .exe afterwards, my Anti-Virus program keeps telling me that this program has a virus in it. If i want to show my friends what i created, their computers are telling that this program contains a virus as well? (We’re all using different AV-Programs)
I’m pretty certain that my Game doesn’t contain any viruses at all and that i shouldn’t worry about my computers safety. But what could i tell people that don’t know me that want to play my game?

The first time i recognized this problem was when i was doing the Roll-a-Ball tutorial.
What can be done to fix this problem? I don’t want to hear people saying that my games contain viruses…

Well it’s most likely that you actually have a virus on your PC that is infecting your build. When you create a standalone build the exe is actually always the same. I just checked one of my builds on virustotal and none of the 57 scanners recognised it as virus. You might want to upload your file and see the result. If multiple scanners detect a virus it’s most likely that your PC is infected.

If you can upload your exe somewhere you could post a link here and i’ll have a look if i find the time ^^

If none of the virustotal scanners detect something, could you tell us which AV you have?
