Webplayer shadows are low quality?

I’m using Unity 4.6, and yes, I set the graphics settings for web player output to “fantastic”. And yes, I did it specifically for web player output (repeating that statement, for emphasis). Shadows on fantastic are set to highest quality. In the editor, I see crisp shadows. In play mode, crisp shadows. In web player, I see the shadows, but they look fuzzy and blocky and really low quality. I’m using deferred lighting. What’s wrong?
