Can we get Unity Player 2.x anywhere?

I feel stupid asking this since it’s not a technical question, but my 8 year old is in tears and I don’t know where else to ask this. She plays on Webkinz.com - a geek in training!

There is a game embedded within the site that we’ve paid to access called Mazing Hamsters that uses Unity Player - a badly made 3-d vomit game that she loves like crazy.

It’s worked fine until we had to reinstall our browsers after a crash, and so the game tells us we have to go get Unity Player again.

When we try, we get version 4x now but now she can’t play Mazing Hamsters – horrors! The game gives us a screen saying it was made using Unity Player 2.x and so Too Bad So Sad, the current version won’t run the game (the game is too old I guess it’s saying) Webkinz will never fix this though many of her friends still have access to it on their comps.

We also use Chrome (we can’t even find Unity for this) and FIrefox (we can’t even get this installed again; it just snaps closed on us) We have looked and you don’t archive a version in the 2.x versions, only 3.x.

We had an older version from way back on flash drive but it won’t install. Is there any hope of getting this moldy game to play? Thanks for your help.

I’m not sure if you are still looking for a solution to this, but I recently had the same problem myself with a different game.

I found this link Unity Web Player 3.4 Download (Free) - UnityBugReporter.exe to a 3.4 version. It seems to run 2.x games perfectly fine.

I hope this helps!
