Anti-virus false positive?

So I just upgraded from 4.3 to 4.5.4 and when I tried to run it, AVG automatically removed Unity.exe, telling me it was an IDP Trojan. Has anyone else had this problem? Is this a false positive, or could the install somehow have become corrupt?

Business as usual. It’s uncommon to NOT get a false positive with at least one AV system when there is a new release. If it’s downloaded straight from unity3d.com and no other files on your system have that trojan, it’s probably safe. Check with another scanner to be on the safe side (SpyBot, MBAM, specialised removal tools just for that one etc.).

It might mean your Anti-virus system is out-dated or it does not work well and does false alarms. It did this to me:

Do you want to run Stuby Saves The World.exe from an unknown publisher?
This product may have a virus in it.

             yes no cancel

DUH!!! I created the game!!!
