help recovering a deleted file

Hi, i dont know what happened but i accidentally deleted 1 file a while back pretty sure it was a c# or javascript file. But the problem is, i dont know the name of the file therefore i cant recover it. Do i still have a chance?

These are the errors im getting.

Assets/EdyVehiclePhysics/CameraControl.js(94,27): BCE0019: 'reset' is not a member of 'CamSmoothFollow'.
Assets/EdyVehiclePhysics/CameraControl.js(98,25): BCE0019: 'distMinLimit' is not a member of 'CamMouseOrbit'.

If this was caused by a deleted file or files, then it is what ever file contained the definitions of
CamSmoothFollow and CamMouseOrbit

Thats about all the help I can offer. If you have a backup repository then you might search the files for those symbols.

Here’s what I found is the fastest way to recover your files: Quick File Recovery Steps from Unity3d.Expert

(Full instructions with screenshots there. Just right click on the folder in the Project pane, and choose “Show in Explorer”. Then in Windows Explorer open the folder where your deleted was, and right-click, choosing the “Undo Delete” option.)

Hope this helps! (And don’t forget to create backups of your work! I personally use EaseUs Backup Free.)

You can often successfully recover deleted files from a PC, it all depends on what has happened since the files were deleted.
When you delete files the data itself isn’t deleted, just the index entry that tells the system where the data for those files is located. The area containing the deleted data is also now marked as free space so it is available for any new files to be written there instead.

If and when that happens, then it is too late to recover your deleted files so it is very, very important to not save any new files or data to the device concerned. and see Mobiledic for recovery tools.

After the data lost, you can restore data back in a short period of time , but now , in my opinion , the only way that you can do is using tool . unless you have transfered or synced the data to other device .

I managed to recover a deleted project file on my MBP a week ago with the help of TunesBro Data Mac Recovery. Hope this will help someone who see this thread in future. Once you found out the files being deleted by accidentally, stop using the machine immediately to avoid the file being overwritten by new coming data.

I understand you want to recover the deleted files. Well, just if you are running Windows 10 then you could try to recover the permanently deleted files without any software by restoring back to the previous version.

If this does not work just check here: best data recovery tools to undelete files and folders. You will be able to do this easily.

Thanks,
