2D scene level design Help

hello everyone ,

I have confusion about scene design in 2d.

I want make scene like this :

For Background i will be using different layer with camera.

Now how can i design this mountain ? as mountain’s top surface is not simple and straight which can be made using cube.

shall i take block for designing this mountain (like mario game) ? and if i take blocks then how will i design top surface of mountain?

Please suggest me some ideas…

Couldn’t you model the terrain/level in an external program (such as Blender) and import it?

Use a image editing tool like GIMP make sure the background is transparent the export it then import it into unity drag it into your scene and give it a polygon collider.
