Maya Sword hilt is not imported into unity.

I made a sword in maya- http://tinypic.com/r/2vkaplg/7

And when I import it into unity I get this http://tinypic.com/r/waozg6/7

Why is the hilt missing? And I did export the sword from Maya with export all selected.

Sounds like your texture is not linked properly. You may need to re-link some textures after bringing a model into Unity. Should only take a second to do =) Hope this helps.

Is the hilt a file texture? It looks like you painted that in Maya and Maya unfortunately doesn't export that info for you. Try exporting the UV's from Maya to Photoshop or a comparable app and then import the textured file with the model into Unity.

If it is a mesh, make sure it shows in your Maya hierarchy. You may want to combine all of the seperate meshes into one mesh in Maya.

--> In the Polygons shelf, go to the Mesh Menu and select Combine.

Hope this helps.
