(Instructions for Windows 8)
Note: The reason for a failed installation was the lack of admin privileges when I installed it. In order to reinstall Unity Web Player, you might want to launch the installer using the Right-click->Run as administrator... .

I have the same query - I found the "uninstall.exe" in the "Local SettingsApplication DataUnityWebPlayer" folder, but on running that it gives the error "Please run uninstall utility from the Control Panel" And here's the kicker - the frickin' app doesn't even appear in the "Add/Remove Program" list. :( Help please! Related query - is it safe to delete files/folders from the Application Data folder? (Win XP) Thanks in advance!

Something's up with this plug in. Every since I installed this plug in, Google Chrome freezes when you try to switch tabs or even close the browser. Plus the fact that the uninstall instructions above state that Windows 7 users should "4. Click on Add or Remove Programs" is a giveaway these people have not done their homework because this was not carried over to Windows 7. Windows 7 should be "4. Click on Programs and Features". I also have the problem with not finding "Unity Web Player" in the listing of programs to install or uninstall. One of you mentioned a error with uninstalling the program...I get this error with all programs now, only after I installed this player. Frustrating!!!
