Export terrain with models from unity to maya?

Is there a way to export my entire terrain along with my custom models from Unity back into Maya as a single fxb/obj file?

Any links to a plugin that does that would be highly appreciated!

You have on the Unify wiki some scripts to import/export terrain objects.

e.g. http://www.unifycommunity.com/wiki/index.php?title=TerrainObjExporter <- Exports to .obj and this http://www.unifycommunity.com/wiki/index.php?title=Object2Terrain <- works the other way around

But May I ask you what do you want to achieve with that? The importer/exporter does not work perfectly and it doesn't quite work very well with the trees/plants you put into it, for example. And even if it did, I think it would be a challenge to import it as terrain props once again.

So there might be another way to achieve what you want to do?

cheers! Caue

I made a terrain scene in unity and have placed my custom models from maya into the terrain. Now i want to make a few changes to the scene in Maya and so would like to export the entire scene(terrain+models) into maya.The3 terrain exporter only allows me to export the terrain and not the custom models.

maybe to complete an animation in maya using characters developed in that, while using the terrain from unity to complete the maya animation. unity seems much easier then maya with terrain but since unity doesn't have as strong an animation side as maya that's why it's needed.
