I was wondering if there are any 2D side scroller tutorial in C# as my friend and I want to make a game similar to Ghosts and Goblins. I appreciate any help.

essentially just get 2DToolkit and get to work! it's really more or less just like doing a 3D game.
I've never seen a particularly good example explaining this "retro" genre. Good luck!
