I have currently an Acer Aspire X3812 equipped with a Nvidia Geforce GT 220. But I had recently a problem with Unity : I cannot open the editor. Then I thought this maybe is due to a lack of power. So my question is : Which Graphic Card should I buy for my Acer Aspire X3812 ? If the problem is not due to a lack of power : How can I open it again ? Thanks
Do you get any error messages, when trying to open Unity? I severely doubt it is due to lack of power. I couldn't open Unity on my old laptop once, because I had turned Hardware Acceleration off on my Graphics Card.
I checked the specs of your PC and the Nvidia Geforce GT 220. Your system is OK, it is not a lack of power. My system is less powerful than yours an Unity runs fine. What do you mean you cannot open the editor? Unity doesn't start at all? You can't see the Hierarchy, Project and Inspector panes? or what?
