Everytime when I use unity it locks up for 5-10 seconds when I click on any of the Editor UI. Can anyone help me with this?

This was caused by a process called QPService.exe "HP QuickPlay Resident Program". When this is running the lock ups occur but when it is disabled through task manager the locks ups stop.
