Do you mean an icon for the runtime or a picture in the graphics selections window or the unity splash screen at the start of the game, or the little unity logo that pops in from the right? You need to be more specific. i want my logo to come up, when my game starts! now there is just the Unity logo showing when i opening the app. Now i want to bring my own logo in the app instead of the Unity logo. And i want to load cut scenes in the game as well.. little movies which tell the story...

You need unity pro to play movie cutscenes, but realtime cutscenes work in the free version. As for the logo at the beginning you could just add you're own logo after the unity one for a few seconds? Instead of actually replacing it. Which i don't think you can do.

True, but think of all the good stuff you do get for free. Some pieces of Unity, like the bink video player, are licensed from other companies, so it's possible their license doesn't let them give it away. Note that you can rip a video into individual frames and play them back at the right speed to make it appear like a video.

@Juri: you get MANY thousand coding hours for free. The Unity team has spend MONTH on building this 3D engine and they are even nice enough to let you borrow some of it for free so you can make games and earn money without ever paying them a single dollar for their time. Now, if you cant live with that - I recommend you go and find another game engine. Spoiled brats arent welcome :o)

while i dont like unity for doing that, the developers need money too, and they spent alot of time and hard earned money to build this for your use, most people who use unity use the free version. you can do much more with the free version than you think. but they really deserve the money they get. so you can't blame them.

To use your own logo insert it into the build logos and pictures when editing build setting enter your own logo. I hope this could help at all.

I've never tried it myself however if you go to Edit -> Project Settings -> Player and choose the tab for Settings for PC and Mac standalone (the middle tab of the three) and go to the drop down Splash Image then you can add your own image. As I said I haven't tried this but I would assume it would display the image there immediately after the Unity Logo in the same fashion. Scribe
