Hi, 1- If I want to compile/export my Unity game just to to test on my own iOS device, do I need to pay for a $400 for iOS license? 2- Do I need Unity Pro for this? (I know that I need to have a Mac in order to compile for iOS) Thanks!

test84, If you want to test your iOS game without having to publish it, first, then I suggest you get your hands on the Unity Remote from the app store (it's super useful). It runs over your wireless network and is free, there's really no reason not to use it. Best of luck! Unity Remote is good for developing, but it can't replace testing on the device, since it's just streaming output from the Unity editor. Also you still need the Unity iOS license to use it.

Ideally, testing on the device is the best way, you're absolutely right about that, Eric. I just figure that the the Unity Remote serves as a decent mechanism for early prototyping (particularly if you're a lone developer or a hobbyist).

Indeed Unity Remote is good for quick testing, but as I mentioned, you still need the Unity iOS license, which is what the question is asking.
