I am a new member of the forum and I tried posting in the collaboration forum. I posted one yesterday and it didn't get published today, so I tried posting it again today. After I posted again, I did some google-ing and read that you shouldn't post the same thing twice, so i'm sorry about that. Also, I read I need karma points. I'm not sure how I obtain them. Do you need them to make posts on the forums? And without Karma, how long does it take to get your posts published? Thanks.

You should ask questions about the forums on the forums. This site is for Unity development questions. Also you appear to be confusing this site with the forums, which don't have karma. The collaboration section of the forums has some stickied announcements, which you should read.
Well the only reason I didn't is just because I wanted to know why my post on the forum hasn't been posted. I wouldn't really get anywhere if i posted a question on the forum because it wont post. So i thought id ask here to see if anyone could give me an answer. I read the announcements but it doesn't answer my question. Will they even get my question if I reply to their announcement thread?

It's only the collaboration section that requires moderation approval. Moderators see everything you post anyway.
