I have a particle system that's attached to a cylinder which is attached to a first person controller. I want it so when I look left the particle system follows. Right now it just shoots forwards because I set the Z axis to go forwards so it looks like a flame thrower. If that makes sense to you please help. To recap I wan the particle system to follow wherever I look.

Yeah turning off "Simulate in WorldSpace" on the particle emitter should work for this... Or, make sure you're not using "One Shot" option on the emitter, OR turn UP the velocity, and DOWN the Max Energy. Try using Local space instead of world space first though lol.

Try unchecking the box that says "Simulate in world space".. Then have the particle system attached to then end of the gun's barrel or whatever you are using... Disabling world space makes the particle system only in local space. I can't help much more unless you're more specific and maybe post links to some pics / vids of what you're trying to do, and perhaps post the code you're currently using.

Try to attach to the main camera not the first person controller. That still does the same thing as before but thanks for your help.
