can't change mip map bias for android

it seems the mip mapping bias goes a bit higher than the editor when i build it on android, which makes the texture a bit indistinct in the distance.

hence i tried to add a script to adjust the mip mapping bias, it works in the editor but doesn’t on the mobile device…

by the by my texture is a dds file with my customized mip textures

waht’s wrong with it? any1 can help me? otherwise i gotta use a larger texture for the android to avoid the, but it’s just a waste of texture size as it works well in the editor with the correct mip bias.
