I´m making a sort of Escape the room game, or escape the house rather since it´s several rooms as the story unfolds. I´m trying to give the doors that nice dynamic feel that is in Amnesia you know when you can sort of feel how you are holding the door and as you slide the mouse left and right it opens and closes. How would i go about doing that? Someone had asked this question before and gotten the answer to use Configurable Joints saying those were made for doors, how would i go about using configurable joints for doors?
Right now i only have a system where i can pickup items and using that i check wether the item got an Door tag and if it does i run an animation that is attached to that object that opens the door, which works but i´d rather use an system similar to Amnesia.
Well it´s not that intuitive, atleast not for me, anyone got a good tutorial for how to use hinges with doors?
