whenever i open unity this message comes up: mono: failed to load dll here is a screen if it helps

Reinstall Unity, I had the same problem. (You should have tried that before you posted here, actually.)

reinstall unity may mean to reinstall the game, oorr ?

did you included the [exe_name]_data folder at the same directory as the .exe file? cause i was facing the same problem and then i included that folder and the problem is gone.

I had the same problem u have to re install the C:/Program Files (x86)/Unity/* folder, because more files are missing, not just the file in the error.
Keeping an already installed unity in a zip can also saves time to fix this problem.
Up to 2 attachments (including images) can be used with a maximum of 524.3 kB each and 1.0 MB total.
