I'm having trouble finding C# tutorials specifically for unity only one I've been able to find is bergzergarcade and i can really follow it i already have a background in java so i don't really need the basics
Since this post a few of us have made a tutorials web site call Unity Gems that has many beyond the basic C# tutorials. These are one step beyond move an object, but cover many of the important first steps.

The good news is that you can read a standard C# book to learn C# programming as the language is the same - it's not so bad coming from a Java background. This link contains a reference to another C# tutorial and mentions an upcoming book that covers C# and Unity.
