how to prevent unity iphone from changing the orientation of the game and GUI?

my game has nothing to do with orientation and always runs in landscape mode. when i use the accelerametor to play the game unity always changes the gui from portrait to landscape and vise versa. sometimes black edges will appear. how can i turn it off?

i am using unity iphone 30 day trial.
