What free and preferably open-source options (library/api/sdk) are available for mobile (android or iOS) AR game/app development that can be used commercially without a fee or third-party splash screen. I see that Qualcomm's Vuforia (https://developer.qualcomm.com/mobile-development/mobile-technologies/augmented-reality) has "no license fees or royalty payments required for the use of the Qualcomm AR SDK for development or distribution of commercial applications", which sounds appropriate but can someone confirm whether they have a splash screen? NyARToolkit (http://nyatla.jp/nyartoolkit/wp/) is free and open-source, but I believe it is based on ARToolKit and would then require a license fee for commercial use, is this correct? Any others would be a proper fit? Thanks!

I heard that its only works with Qualcomm's snapdragon chip, is that right?

Really? I hadn't heard that - well it works on iPhone and Droid from what I can tell. I'm using it for my project and haven't run into any issues yet.
