How can I place the first person controller prefab onto a platform that is on the scale X = 1 Y = 1 Z = 1?
I am doing this tutorial here: http://download.unity3d.com/support/resources/files/FPS_Tutorial_1.pdf
I want to know how to do this and if you guys have any more tips on this one, please let me know.

I think you simply drag the fpscontroller from the project menu onto the scene screen. Then the fpscontroller will be in the scene and in the hierarchy. click on the fpscontroller and all of its information will show up in the inspectator. Now look for the transform and under that is position. Change the position to x =1 y =2 and z=1. Make sure the platform has a collider so the fpscontroller doesnt fall through. Tell me if you got it. This is my first time giving advice.
