Is it normal to have one drawcall PER levels of detail when using LODGroup?

When using a directional light , I have X drawcalls if there are X levels of detail in my LODGroup. It is not the case with only ambient lighting, I have then only one drawcall (as expected, I suppose).

I am wondering if it's a bug? (Unity version 3.5.1f2)
