Toggle iOS flash LED light on/off?

Is it possible to turn on and off the hardware LED light that's on the iPhone/iPad?

If not natively is there a plugin?

Cheers!

First off, the iPad does not have an LED 'flash'. Second, the iPhone 4/4S LED 'flash' only goes off in 'low light situations'. There is a way to imbed camera functionality into an app (sorry, can't remember what it is), but to access the flash, you'd have to override the low light situation function.

I've found with Unity that using the camera functionality in a low light situation doesn't automatically activate the flash. Is this not the case for you?
