Customising Monodevelops colors

Just to make the working day nicer:

Unitron has beautiful syntax coloring, whereas Monodevelop has ghastly colors.. Is it possible to fix MD so it looks nice like Unitron? Sometimes I just reel involuntarily when I'm bombarded with Psychedelic code. It doesnt help complex coding any.

Yea, just go to Preferences->TextEditor->Syntax Highlighting-> and either pick one that's already made or click New and then Edit one yourself. I'm not sure what Unitron looks like, but this is how you'd do it.

Thanks for that. Seems like when I go to add a new one though, it wants an "application to debug". Maybe a color scheme is a special file type or something? Some of the others might be better though. Cheers

Well for PC's monodevelop you should be able to go to Tools->Options->TextEditor->Syntax Highlighting-> then don't press ADD but press NEW at top right, then give it a name and description and press Ok. Then click on your new theme and press EDIT. That should work.
