how to build an ios App for distribution

I looking for a more up to date / walk through / tips on how to build an app for distribution on the app store. Ive tried following the steps on http://apple.com/developer but none of the screens match the newer Xcode screens. Ive been building and testing on my iphone / ipads etc i just cant figure out how to build the final distribution files etc.

goin a bit nuts here.

some errors would help on where you're stuck at...

typically, the process goes:

  1. Distribution Cert
  2. Distribution Profile
  3. Compile, Archive in Xcode
  4. Set up ITC Account and prep for binary upload
  5. Validate through Xcode
  6. Submit through Xcode

Where along the lines are you having a problem. Valid profile error? No signing identity error? etc etc

1 answer: sort newest

Just to be clear.. I i have the app workign fine and tested using a regular developer cert etc on my iphone and ipad... Next i do a brand new clean build from unity which pops it open in xcode all nice and clean. I have installed a distro cert also. So im basicaly at the xcode screen ready for the next step. I figure it would be easier if i just kinda stop and wait for some input here rather than break settings :)
