Sprite Manager to Sprite Manager 2

I'm currently working on a project that was initially developed using Sprite Manager, and now we are looking at possibly upgrading to Sprite Manager 2. I tried finding some sort of integration guide to see how big of a task it would be converting dozens of sprites and all the GUI objects in the game fro Sprite Manager to Sprite Manager 2, but haven't had any luck so far. I could have sworn there was a topic on the forums where the creator of Sprite Manager listed the differences between the two and the integration issues that involved upgrading them during a project, but I couldn't find that either.

Does anyone have any info pertaining to how much of a task this would be? We're interested in upgrading, but can't afford to do so if its going to be a major overhaul as we draw nearly everything in the current version with Sprite Manager. Any advice or links to previous pages where this has been discussed would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Why don't you ask on the creator's forum?

I also posted this on the SpriteManager forums, but I wasn't sure how fast topics moved over there, so I just wanted to see if others here had any insight on the issue as well.
