Unity import animation problem

I have an oval mesh that i want to import into unity from 3ds max 2012. It has this looped animation attached to it that just bobs up and down like a sine wave. Everything is fine except for two problems:

  1. There’s a couple of holes missing in the mesh like as if some of the triangles didn’t import over

  1. The animation isn’t quite what I wanted, Unity added this unwanted part. It has this “jump” in it that makes it look jerky in one spot.

well firstly, the mesh looks as if the normals arent correctly calculated, im not farmiliar on how to do this on 3ds max, just google it :slight_smile: when you import fbx’s in unity you can set animation lengths, just set it ahead whichever frame you wish to cut off
