I'm using a couple of trail renderers as jets under a character. The problem occurs whenever the character falls/moves downward and the trails cut through the character (see image). Can this be avoided somehow? Thanks.

In case anybody else finds this question through a search (like I did)... make sure the materials of the trails is using a shader that isn't in the GUI or whatever. I had bullet trails with the "GUIText" shader and I had the same problem. Change them to something like Diffuse. Cheers!
