Unity in a modern professional enviroment

Hi,

I'm investigating Unity for future products for a major games publisher and I have a few questions about Unity. I'd like to see what the community's opinions are. Would any one be kind enough to offer some answers to my questions:

1) How hard is it to set up a build machine that monitors perforce submissions and can automatically build a version of your game?

2) How good is the source control integration? For example, are projects mergeable when more than one artist/programmer make changes that conflict. Are there any problems handling conflicts generally?

3) How easy is to add C/C++ code to a unity project for iOS, Xbox & PC platforms? This would be necessary to integrate 3rd party libraries.

Thanks, in advance, for any insight you can offer.

Hi Cthutu. I'm sorry I can't give any insight to your questions.
(Also, I'm sorry for the long wait till your question got published... we have some issues with moderation here... -.- )
Even though they are closely related, I'd like to ask you to not pose 3 in one question on unityAnswers... =/ It's meant to be an archive of clean-cut question-answer-pairs.
Also, you're more likely to get replies and it won't be so difficult to decide which answer is 'the' answer to your question...

I have to agree with @SisterKy. This request should be posted on the Unity forums according to the FAQs

  • UnityAnswers is a place for questions that can be answered! Avoid asking questions here that are subjective, argumentative, or require extended discussion.

  • Unity Forums is a place for discussions, opinions, showing off your work, getting feedback, and general community chatter.
