FBX export from Max - No UV mapping

Hi,

I am able to export a 3ds animated model to Unity, see the animation inside Unity following these instructions http://unity3d.com/support/documentation/Manual/HOWTO-ImportObjectMax.html . Unfortunately, when I export the texture, the UV mapping is completely wrong in Unity3d. I see the texture, but it is surely not in the right place. I use 3ds Max 2011 and Unity 3.4 Pro. What could be wrong (the texture is correctly rendered in Max)?

I got the answer that the plugin used in 3ds is "TEXTURE LAYERS 2". Do you know if there's a workaround?

Best regards, Daniel

Hi, I tried adding the unwrap modifier in 3ds max, but it showed a completly different mapping. I am using this model from a 3rd party, do I don't know how it was mapped (nor am I a 3d modeller). I am attaching the model with the modifiers and the texture so you can have an idea. It was originally a .dae (collada) file, but I don't know where it was generated. Thank you in advance, Daniel
