Hello. I'm new to Unity, and have been enjoying using it so far. I have run into a slight problem, which is that when I apply a material to a cube (or rectangle, I guess) on half of the sides it shows up as being upside-down. I've tried everything I can think of to solve this problem (except for making my texture vertically symmetrical, but that takes up way too much time) but I have yet to find a solution. Here is a screenshot, if that helps:

You can also model your own cube in Blender or whatnot and set the UV's as needed

is your texture seamless cause if not you'll get this effect. you might try painting out four boxes like this: http://www.cs.washington.edu/education/courses/cse458/10au/content/exercises/images/uv/cube1.png and putting your texture into the boxes (overlapping is fine)
