C# help and a request

I never really use C# but I downloaded a script I thought was cool and it is in C# and I was wondering how I assign the word "gameWater" to my water, and I was wondering if someone could download This spider model and export it to fbx with all the animations and give me a download link to that because I don't have 3ds max...Thank you!

I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. You have some script from someone that does something. It contains "a word" gameWater that you want to assign to something you call "water"...

That was the short version of your question, just think about it.

Oh and your downloading / converting request: I'm not registrated on this page so why don't you download it at least yourself and provide a simple download for someone here.

Here's your spider model as fbx. You need to split the animations yourself. Just open the animation window and determine the keyframes where the animation starts and split them at the FBX importer.

Thanks, do you know how to fix the script too?

Sorry, but i don't have the time to dig through it yet. It's a custom script that he wrotes for his special case. He's using a lot custom shaders as well and i still don't know what's your actual problem. Do you get errors?

Maybe I'll find some time tomorrow ;)

I'm using the normal water that is given to you by unity (Non-pro water)..By the way, you are awesome :D

This is my question is how to get this comment working: "Just assign to gameWater your Water3, and:

private float GetWaterLevel(float x, float z) { return gameWater.GetHeightOffsetAt(transform.position).y; " ...apparently that fixes it for the normal water given to you by unity, but I never use C#. I have tried as much as I know but I keep getting errors

This comment you've mentioned is about using the water3 script. It should work with the indy version too (set the watermode to indy) but I never used any water yet so i would have to try it myself ...
