Animation from blender doesn't start

I have imported a 3d model with a walk cycle animation from blender in unity.
The animation is previewed correctly .
I have put it in the default state after the entry , yet when I start the game the model doesn’t seem to play the animation.
I have the animation to generic because when i put it in legacy the avatar dissapears and everything seems to break .

@NGkotsis , have u tick the animator box and see if its played?
