My app is done! Works for PC, and in the editor. So I ported it out to Android. No joy, looked at the code, did some refactoring, still no joy. The apk, when installed does indeed create the correct path(persistent data path), but the database never gets created. Therein lies the problem. I'm using a singleton database manager script that is lazily instantiated. In other words, it only shows up when it's needed. So my question is, could that be part of the problem. Should I just make it static or attach it to a canvas? Would that solve the problem or am I barking up the wrong tree?
If anyone that has successfully ported an app or game using sqlite to Android and had it work, please share your wisdom.
