Unity 5.6 Slow Build Time on Android

Hello,

I currently switched from 5.5 to the official release of 5.6, and my build time increased 500% on Android.

(The machine is not a problem)

Any ideas?

Hey, I think I am currently encountering a similiar issue, not android, but normal Windows build. Now with Unity 5.6 my build time takes forever. Before, it was about 1-2 minutes, now it is something about 30+ minutes. Unfortunately, I am still completely clueless what might be causing these issues. Any help would be much appreciated.

Do you use IL2CPP ? Because it makes builds very long, empty project takes 30 minutes for me, instead of 5 seconds that it takes on mono.

I am having the same problem. I updated to 5.6 and Android build is taking forever (I have only one scene with not so many objects) :frowning:

Same problem creeping in. Although only realistically about an extra 3/4 seconds ontop of what it was…
