Trees in VR?

Hello together,

i am a Little bit confused… i make a new Unity Project… add the SteamVR Asset, Drag the CameraRig into the Project, delete the main camera and plant a Standard Tree on it… start the Game and the foliage goes with my had! But i only see this in my HTC Vive Headset… in the preview Window in unity it works perfectly… but in the Headset the foliage are going left and right… it’s totaly strange… has someone the same issue or a fix for it?
I try a lot of different trees from asset store and the Standard unity trees… with and without windzones…

I hope someone understand my strange Problem =D

You’re likely using a billboard tree. These types of trees work by putting a 2D Picture of a tree, and having it constantly face the camera. In VR, there are two cameras rendering, and the billboard gets confused as to which camera it needs to point towards. This will cause the moving tree effect. You can fix this problem by using actual 3D models for your trees.
