Can't run Unity Setup

I'm running W7 64bit core i7 2.89, 8GB RAM, GTX460, a friend told me to get stuck into Unity, and I'd love to if I could even install it.

I am receiving the message "The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion" upon launching.

Any ideas?

because unitysetup giving this error? I have it installed but the game does not recognize. Why?
