I am having a hard time setting up Maya in order to export the correct size. According to the Rigidbody recommendations, scaling is not recommended.
Does anyone have Maya 8.5?

Question: If I have to scale my models by 32 in Unity, should I scale by the same amount in Maya in order that my models stay around a scale of 1 in Unity?
I am going to try this.... I could not find any info on this subject....
A new procedure to add to the list of oddities. It worked perfectly.
I can't really tell but it seems to run better!? Please, anybody else see a difference when changing the scale back to 1 in Unity?
OK, I see it... The FBX importer can actually change the scale factor which changes the size of the mesh. Then how does anyone know the size of the mesh in Unity?
Wow - I am confused!
