blurred canvas images on iOS retina

I have a question about creating an iOS version and blurry canvas images. What CanvasScaler settings should i have in order to see non-blurry (sharp) images on my Canvas?
I have also set the FilterMode for imported sprites to be “Pointed”.

When using Unity 5.4 (beta), the game scene looks very nice and sharp on my mac’s retina display.

The problem happens when I create an iOS builld…
I think I have tried all the options, but the images are still blurry. I am testing in on iPad Air and the text is sharp.
It looks like the image is first downscaled and then upscaled… so it makes it’s blurry.

I would be very thankful for any hint or idea!
