Anybody, or am I the only one not able to run unity on my mac?
I’m having the same issue and I found no alternative to install unity (for version 5.3.2 the pkg installer doesn’t seems to be available for download anymore).
It might have been a bad idea to start with to have a “manager” for the install process. Next we might have a manager of the manager ^^
I have the same problem, idk what to do now any answer?
Hi, I just transferred a project from my windows desktop to my mac book pro (with Yosemite)… I had to update my mac unity version… The installer (5.4.) displayed the error mentioned in this thread. I installed the editor package… Problem : this pkg comes with no module… not even the mac standalone… so i currently just have access to (deprecated) webplayer that does not support functions of System.IO…
That s really annoying. Is there an explanation for this timeout error? And can it be fixed in a way or another so I can get the modules??? Thx.
Also unable to install Unity at all.

I had this problem for a while and couldn’t figure it out
-fixed it by disabling my proxy and VPN on safari.
I experienced the same issue when downloading Unity 5.6.0f3, and resolved it by changing the Wi-Fi network I was on.,I experienced the same issue when downloading Unity 5.6.0f3, and resolved it by changing Wi-Fi network.
