So I keep having this issue with my Logitech controller where the left and right trigger will work with the 9th and 10th axis for a while then they will stop working after a while for no particular reason I can discern. I have to not use the 3rd axis, even though it does trigger, because that doesn’t let the two triggers operate independently.
I am using Unity 4.6.1f1 the Logitech controller is a Gamepad F310. I’d rather not add in 3rd party software to solve the problem unless it’s not solvable otherwise.
Thanks for your help, it’s been a real stumbling block that I’d love to have a concrete answer for cause it seems to happen almost at random.
EDIT: I’ve just been testing the standalone build and that’s behaving even weirder. It’s defaulting the triggers to axis 2 and axis 8 but the right trigger still isn’t triggering and if I try to set it for the right in the input menu of the start up screen it sets to axis 2 for BOTH the left and the right, AND the right one still doesn’t trigger. Sigh.
